By accessing or using Scan Video, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Permission is granted to temporarily use Scan Video for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in Scan Video
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

Account Creation

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, false, or misleading.

User Content

You retain all rights to the videos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, process, and analyze your content to provide our services.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or share content that:

• Violates any intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Contains explicit adult content or child exploitation material
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
• Violates the privacy rights of others

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that:

• The service will be available at all times without interruption
• The service will be error-free or secure
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Scan Video and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scan Video shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Your billing information is held securely by Lemon Squeezy and is not stored on Scan Video's servers.

Subscription Plans

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance depending on the plan you select.
• Credits are allocated at the start of each billing period and reset monthly. Unused credits do not roll over.
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year at a discounted rate.

Refund Policy

Because Scan Video credits are consumed at the time of video processing, we operate a limited refund policy:

• Monthly plans: Refunds are not available for the current billing period once the subscription has been activated and credits have been allocated.
• Annual plans: If you cancel within 14 days of your annual subscription start date and have consumed fewer than 10% of your annual credit allocation, you may request a pro-rated refund by contacting us.
• Technical failures: If a confirmed technical error on our part results in credits being consumed without a usable output, we will credit your account for the affected amount. Refunds to your original payment method may be available at our discretion.
• Free tier: No charges apply and no refunds are applicable.

To request a refund, please contact us with your account email and a description of your request. All refund requests are reviewed individually.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Upon cancellation, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free tier. No further charges will be made.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
